2017 Chris Blackert Rural Nurse Award Recipient

About the Award

The purpose of the award is to recognize a nurse from a rural certified APT/APRS Hospital that has worked in rural setting for two years as a clinical maternal or neonatal nurse. The award winner is an individual who has demonstrated excellence in practice and shown initiative in improving patient care.  The recipient of the award will be recognized at the Arizona Perinatal Trust – Annual Perinatal Conference (presently held annually in Flagstaff, Arizona). The recipients cost of registration, travel expense and room are covered for the Award Year.
